Monotype Imaging Confirms Distribution by Major Shareholder

WOBURN, Mass., Mar 11, 2010 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Monotype Imaging Holdings Inc. (Nasdaq: TYPE), a leading global provider of text imaging solutions, has announced that it was informed today by TA Associates, Inc. that funds managed by TA have made distributions to their partners of two million shares of Monotype Imaging common stock. TA is in the process of completing Form 4 filings in connection with this distribution.
